Ofgem have lots of help and advice for households, including how to make a complaint about your energy supplier, and what to do if you can’t afford your energy bills. All this information can be found here
For further help or guidance regarding energy bills I would recommend contacting Citizens Advice, the statutory consumer body for energy consumers in Great Britain. It is a government funded advice service that can provide help and guidance on a range of energy consumer issues. Christians Against Poverty provides free debt help and local community groups across the UK. Their free services, run with local churches can be accessed here
the Household Support Fund provides extra support to those in need. Local access to the fund via the East Sussex district and borough council can be found here
