This afternoon, during my visit to Bexhill College, I toured the College's excellent T Level building that houses its industry-standard teaching rooms and equipment. I also had the opportunity to observe T Level Health students developing the skills required for their NHS placements, and talk to students and staff about how T Levels are delivered at the College.
Following this, I then spoke with first and second-year Politics and Law students about my role as a Government Minister at the Department for Transport and as MP for the Bexhill and Battle constituency. Students then asked me probing questions about the Government's approach to immigration, transport unions strikes, cabinet ministers and their choice and use of language, and the attitudes in government towards the LGBTQ+ community and transgender rights.
