Huw Merriman MP is looking to nominate local businesses in the Bexhill and Battle constituency for the Global Britain Business Champions awards by nominating them to be a Heathrow Global Britain Business Champion.

Huw said "The campaign, which is being run by Heathrow, will celebrate businesses from around the country that export British products all over the world. I know that it has been a tough year for many, but as we start to recover from the pandemic, it is local businesses that will get our economy going again."

Businesses selected as Heathrow Global Britain Business Champions will receive a certificate, and will be featured in Heathrow’s digital marketing channels, providing some great free advertising. We will also look to get some local coverage of the award presentation, helping recipients with local publicity. Later in the year, Heathrow will also be looking to hold roundtables and other events featuring some of the Global Britain Business Champions, helping them link in with other exporters and with the Department for International Trade.

Global Britain Business Champions must be exporters and should ideally export their products through airborne freight.
