In Parliament this week, Huw once again praised the support provided by job centre work coaches to help people into the world of work. He asked the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Amber Rudd to ensure that these coaches receive the support they need to continue their work.
The Secretary of State agreed and said tailored and personalised support was a key defining feature of the new universal credit system over the legacy benefit system and helped ensure people find work.
