Today, I spoke in the House of Commons as the UK enters the final stages of our negotiation with the EU on our exit terms. I expressed my frustration that some MPs continue to talk up the EU’s position, talk down our ability to gain a deal which Parliament will pass whilst simultaneously asking the Government to take our best negotiation card off the table. Surely the way to get a deal which Parliament will pass, and thus avoid a No Deal whilst delivering the Referendum result, is to negotiate with determination at the final stages.
