Huw Merriman MP recently visited A Level Politics and Law students at Bexhill College to deliver a talk about his roles in parliament and as a government minister.
He spoke about election campaigns, problems with the electoral system, and what it is like working with the Prime Minister. Further engaging with the students, Huw then held a Q&A session, allowing them to quiz him on topics such as his views on his party, his job, and what he is doing to help the local area.
Huw said "It's always a pleasure to visit Bexhill College each year to talk to the students studying Politics and Law. They are always very engaged and interested in current affairs as well as domestic and international politics. This year's students demonstrated how deeply they have considered global issues, like the Gaza conflict, as well as more local matters which impact their lives and futures. I really enjoyed listening and debating with them."
