Following a hugely successful inaugural event, the Bexhill Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair will return on 3 March for a second year at the De La Warr Pavilion, from 10.00am – 3.00pm. The event is being run in association with Bexhill College and is being supported by Beaming, Italian Way Group, National Careers Service, The Club at the Waterfront, Amicus Horizon, Playne Design, Bexhill Lions Club, and Dv8.
This a great opportunity for young people, career changers or those who are not currently employed to speak to local and national employers about the potential opportunities that they may have. There will be a range of exhibitors at the event, covering a range of industries including: Professional Services, Hospitality and Catering, The Arts, Health and Social Care, Manufacturing and Enterprise.
There will also be an opportunity for those attending to network with employers in Creative Café sessions. The Creative Café give people a chance for a more supported discussion with employers and proved useful for young people at the fair in 2016 in developing their skills. The sessions will be running from 10.30am – 11.30am, 11.50am – 12.50 and 1.30pm – 2.30pm.
Huw said “I am pleased that the event is returning for a second year, it is essential that we demonstrate that Bexhill is open for business, both in terms of attracting more businesses in to the area, and recruiting locally too."
